LIVERPOOL 4-0 LASK: Three goals in the first hour put Liverpool in charge of their game against LASK, and Jurgen Klopp’s team made sure they would be playing football in Europe in 2019. Liverpool bounced back from their Europa League loss to Toulouse by beating LASK and securing their spot in the Europa League’s knockout stages.

Jurgen Klopp’s team went ahead 2-0 after just 15 minutes thanks to quick goals from Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo. Kostas Tsimikas almost scored a third goal, but his shot hit the post.

Liverpool let the other team have a few chances in the last few minutes, but the game was already over. Klopp’s team can now focus on things in their own country again now that they have secured their spot in Europe and are the group winners thanks to Toulouse losing points.
