🔴⚽ Man Utd vs Newcastle lineup: Rashford, Garnacho and Rising Star Kobbie Mainoo Ready to shine, Onana is still the number 1 choice in goal🔥💪

These two United teams are going to play each other on Saturday night, and it should be a very exciting game. For some people, these two teams competed for the title in the middle to late 1990s. It seems like Newcastle has never been able to get out from under Manchester United’s shade, but things are changing… or are they? Would it have been a surprise going into this season if Newcastle finished ahead of United? The Magpies are only one point behind Erik ten Hag’s team right now, and Eddie Howe’s team needs to win this game. It’s easy to fall behind in this league, and Newcastle is already seven points behind Arsenal, who are in first place. The home team’s recent form has been good; they’ve only lost one of their last five games, and their most recent league game was a great 4-1 win over Chelsea.

Newcastle should have won their Champions League game away at PSG last week, but PSG was given a soft penalty in the last few minutes of injury time, and the score finished 1-1. It’s been great for Newcastle at home, where they’ve won six of their seven games and only lost to Liverpool. They’ve scored 18 goals and given up only four.

Erik ten Hag claims Andre Onana is the 'second-best' in his position across the Premier League

United might not make it out of the group rounds of the Champions League. They gave up two goals at Galatasaray, and the game ended in a 3-3 tie. It was exciting, but the Red Devils had another bad moment. They are in sixth place because they have a good away record. They have won their last four games in a row, beating Burnley, Sheffield United, Fulham, and Everton. Overall, they have 12 points from 18 games, which would put them in fourth place just based on their away form.

United has won three games in a row and has 12 points from its last 15 games. They still look like they’ll lose most of the games it plays, but it has been winning and is now only four points behind Manchester City for a spot in the top four.

Newcastle: Due to a leg injury, Callum Wilson is likely to miss another game, but he could be back next weekend after being checked out. Harvey Barnes and Elliot Anderson won’t be back until at least the Christmas season. It’s possible that Joseph Willock, Matt Targett, and Javier Manquillo will be out for a long time. Dan Burn won’t be able to play again until next month because of a back injury. Sean Longstaff is also likely to miss time because of a hip injury. Sven Botman will be out for a long time because of his knee injury. Sandro Tonali can’t play for the rest of the season.

Mason Mount isn’t sure if he will be able to play again after hurting his calf. He probably won’t, but he could be back next week. The club has more long-term injuries than recent ones. Amad Diallo, Casemiro, Jonny Evans, Tyrell Malacia, and Lisandro Martinez are still out, and it’s possible that they will all miss the rest of the year. Christian Eriksen might be able to come back from a knee injury next week, but Jadon Sancho is still out.
