Jude Bellingham is on fire! The Real Madrid sensation extended his sensational run by netting his 16th goal of the season against Real Betis. However, even his remarkable performance couldn’t secure a victory for Los Blancos against their resilient opponents.

Bellingham kept up his crazy goal-scoring style by scoring again for Real Madrid against Betis in La Liga. He scored in the 53rd minute after being set up inside the penalty area. Then Bellingham got the ball in his chest and scored his 16th goal of the season for Real Madrid.

He joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer and has now scored 16 goals and set up 4 others in 18 games.

The next Champions League match for Real Madrid is against Union Berlin. Bellingham might not play because Real Madrid has already made it to the last 16 and won their group. The England star is currently playing through pain after hurting his shoulder, which may need surgery in the future.



Betis is currently seventh in La Liga, so it was clear that they would give a good fight at home. Real Madrid needs to keep winning if they want to stay on top. Even though the media said that Kepa Arrizabalaga was going to come back in goal, Andriy Lunin kept his starting spot. Real Madrid’s Ferland Mendy can now think of himself as a starting again. Brahim Díaz kept going with his starting run too. From center, Luka Modrić led the team as captain.

Rodrygo Goes broke into the other team’s box and almost won a penalty, which was a good start at the Estadio Benito Villamarín. Later, Brahim Díaz tried to test the goalie but his shot was blocked. A few minutes later, a goal was called off because the player wasn’t onside. The amazing save that Andriy Lunin made to stop Ayoze Pérez made his start worth it. Willian José, who used to play for Castilla, then had a good chance to score but missed the target. Luka Modrić made a good attempt to get Madrid back in the game, but the goalkeeper made a good save from far away. The last chance of the half fell to David Alaba, but his free kick went just wide of the post. At halftime, it was 0-0.

In the second half, Isco got things going by almost beating Lunin. However, the Ukrainian kept up his good play by making another great save. It was smart of Brahim to find Jude Bellingham, who was sure to score at that point, so that would cost Betis. Rodrygo made a crazy run and just missed the goal when he tried to make it 2-0. Madrid was getting ahead, but Betis found a way to fight back. 

There was a long shot that Lunin couldn’t stop in time, and the game went back to 1-1. After that, Madrid’s play showed how angry they were, and they didn’t get another chance until Toni Kroos almost scored another free kick for the guests. Betis didn’t do much during the tie, but Isco had a great chance to win it when he headed the ball towards the goal but missed the post. The game was over; it finished with a score of 1-1.
