SunSport can tell that Cristiano Ronaldo is going to make his new Portuguese mega-mansion more fun by adding a big glass swimming pool with an underwater walkway to get over his World Cup heartbreak.
The Bond-villain-style feature will let Ron, who used to play for Manchester United, and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, use the underground tunnel to look up at the water.

The new pool will go some way to help soothe Ronaldo’s disappointment following Portugal’s dismal display, which saw them dumped out of the World Cup at the hands of Morocco.
The indoor pool will make up a series of new features Ron has planned for his luxury retirement home in Quinta da Marinha, near the coastal resort of Cascais on the Portuguese Riviera.
The 37-year-old star has also insisted on a huge master bedroom, measuring a massive 1,000 square feet, triple the normal size for a typical home in the area.
New details of the property Ron is expected to make his main residence in retirement emerge, as it was claimed the cost of the project has rocketed to nearly £28 million.
Earlier this year, we revealed building costs had jumped from the £10m he set aside to £17m.
The rise was attributed to Ronaldo’s desire for perfection and the soaring price of materials.
Lisbon-based newspaper Novo is now reporting that the cost of the mansion, due to be finished in June next year, has risen by another £11 million.
The new price rise is thought to have been partly caused by the cost of relocating a posh golf clubhouse next to Cristiano’s super home.
The former Manchester United striker and his reps are said to be putting the “finishing touches” on a deal involving the relocation of the building and a car park at Oitavos Golf Club so he can have an unblocked view.
Ronaldo and his partner are already said to have picked four employees, including a £4,800-a-month butler and chef, for the new mansion.
The chef is described as a sushi specialist who will be given an area in the house specifically designed for the preparation of the Japanese delicacy.
The Spanish beauty wrote alongside a snap she posted on Instagram following Portugal’s shock quarterfinals World Cup defeat: “Going home. Thank you, Qatar, for these marvellous days, and thank you to all the people who made it possible.”
Ronaldo’s Portuguese mansion, which is half an hour from Lisbon Airport, will add to his already-extensive property portfolio in his home country, which already includes a seven-story apartment block overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the Madeiran capital Funchal, where his mom and older brother Hugo live, and two Lisbon apartments.
