Over time, Messi has owned several impressive homes, including mansions in Barcelona and Miami, and more recently, he has added properties in Ibiza and Rosario to his portfolio. SunSport offers a glimpse into Messi’s homes, valued at around £23 million in total.

In Barcelona, Messi resided in Castelldefels, a suburb known for its wealthy inhabitants. The home boasted spectacular sea views and was situated in a no-fly zone, requiring planes to alter their flight paths.

The property was a mere 12 miles from Camp Nou, featuring a small football pitch, a swimming pool, an indoor gym, and a playground. It’s unclear if Messi still owns this property, now valued at £5.5 million.

In 2020, Messi invested £5 million in a luxurious apartment in Miami, fueling speculation about a potential move to MLS with David Beckham’s Inter Miami. Located in Sunny Isles Beach, the apartment features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, 360-degree views of the Miami skyline, and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar.

The complex includes six pools, a spa, fitness center, yoga studio, children’s playhouse, and a champagne bar. Reports suggest Messi may have put this property on the market last year.

Messi’s latest acquisition is a £9.5 million holiday home in Ibiza, which needs some renovation due to planning issues. The mansion reportedly lacks a certificate of occupancy due to unauthorized construction in the garage area before Messi’s purchase.

In his hometown of Rosario, Messi is believed to have spent £3 million on a mansion known as ‘The Fortress’, located in a gated community. The home includes a cinema, a fully-equipped gym, an underground garage for 15 cars, and around 20-25 rooms. A large portrait of Messi in his Argentina No10 shirt is said to adorn the property. Messi’s father, Jorge, reportedly oversaw the design of this home, where Messi might eventually retire.
