Midfielder Frenkie De Jong burst into tears when he was injured and left the field on a stretcher in the match against Real Madrid this morning.

 

WHAT HAPPENED?

Frenkie De Jong was in a lot of pаin after a collision from Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde just before the break. The 26-year-old player could not continue playing and had to leave the field on a stretcher. Pedri was the player Xavi sent on to replace the field. Real Madrid fans also applauded De Jong as he was on his way off the field.

According to Spanish media reports, De Jong may miss the rest of the season with Barca. The possibility of this midfielder missing EURO 2024 is also possible when the tournament is less than 2 months away from starting.
