Phil Foden, a star for Manchester City, and his partner Rebecca Cooke are expecting their third child.
As they get ready for their new addition, the 23-year-old midfielder and his childhood sweetheart celebrated the momentous occasion with an extravagant baby shower.
With their two children, Ronnie, four, and True, one, in tow, Foden and Rebecca, 22, posed for a sweet picture.
Rebecca, a soon-to-be mother of three, flaunted her growing baby bulge while wearing a floor-length, light blue dress.
It is unclear how far along Rebecca is and when the arrival date will be made public.
Cheshire’s Go PR and events coordinated the shower with a blue theme.
The agency announced the couple’s announcement by sharing pictures on Instagram and wrote, “We are so grateful that Becca trusted us with this important event.
“Such an amazing day we were so excited to be a party of.”
Ronnie Foden, the eldest of the Foden family, shared the family photo on Instagram as well.
“Had an amazing day with the most important people yesterday,” the post said.
“Thank you again for capturing our special moments.”
It is said that when Foden and Rebecca were teenagers in Stockport, they met at a party.
Since then, she has been seen playing for England’s Wags in competitions like the World Cup and the Euros.
When Foden and Rebecca brought their son Ronnie into the world at the age of 18, he became a father for the first time.
He shared his thoughts on the enchanted occasion with Man City’s website, saying, “I was there for the birth.”
“I left the room, shed a quick tear, and then returned as if nothing had occurred.
“I don’t usually cry in front of other people. I like to be alone myself, but I was in the room when it happened, and it was a unique occasion.”
Since he was four years old, the City ace has been a member of the team.
With 22 goals in all competitions this season, Foden has been in outstanding form.
England will be keen for him to carry that form into the Euros this summer.
Prior to their group stage matches against Denmark and Slovenia, the Three Lions begin their campaign on June 16 against Serbia.
And Foden is in prime position to start due to his stellar season.
