Arsenal is 1 point ahead of Manchester City but has played 1 more match. For the home team at Emirates Stadium, the remaining 3 rounds are all finals. Meanwhile, Bournemouth no longer has much motivation to strive.

The biggest difference between Arsenal and Bournemouth is probably the motivation from the situation. The home team must win to stay at the top of the table and wait for Manchester City (still having a make-up match after round 37) to lose points. Meanwhile, Bournemouth is certain to stay in relegation and has very little chance of competing for the European Cup.

The only time Arsenal lost to Bournemouth was in a match that took place under coach Arsene Wenger (2018). In 18 meetings between the two teams, the “Gunners” won 11 matches and were held to a draw twice.

That is a factor for Emirates Stadium fans to be optimistic before the match in round 36 of the Premier League tonight (May 4). Arsenal needs to take advantage of this opportunity to win 3 points before preparing for a difficult away trip to MU in the penultimate round.
