Chelsea Confident in Training: Mauricio Pochettino Asserts He and His Staff Have Stabilized the Club

Chelsea will attempt to finish the season off in style against Bournemouth and the Blues have been working hard in preparation for our final game of the 2023/24 campaign.

Victory in our final Premier League game of the season would not only maintain recent fine form but also secure European qualification.

Even a draw would be enough to ensure we play in the UEFA Europa League or Conference League next season. A fifth placed finish – and automatic Europa qualification – could also still be a possibility if current occupiers Tottenham Hotspur lose at Sheffield United.

Training was followed by Pochettino’s pre-match press conference, where the head coach said: ‘The most important thing now is to be seen to perform and trying to compete in the best way. Bournemouth are a tough game and are playing so well, so yes it’s tough.

‘But it’s important to finish well and see, after, if we have the chances to get the place. Being fifth would be amazing for us.’
