Sky Sports reported that Tuchel has become a very viable choice for the position of Chelsea head coach next season. Goal confirmed that the German coach is interested in the prospect of returning to work in the Premier League.

At this time, MU is also a potential landing spot for Tuchel. However, the German military leader still prioritizes reuniting with Chelsea if given the opportunity. The 50-year-old coach feels his work at Stamford Bridge is unfinished.

However, according to The Athletic, Chelsea’s board of directors wants to appoint a young, talented coach who plays attacking and control-oriented football. Therefore, Roberto De Zerbi (Brighton) or Kieran McKenna (Ipswich Town) are being considered.

In the summer of 2023, Chelsea appointed Mauricio Pochettino as head coach with a 3-year contract. Despite helping “The Blues” finish 6th in the Premier League, the Argentine coach still had to leave.

Meanwhile, Tuchel helped Chelsea win the Champions League in 2021 but was fired after a poor start to the following season. He became the first victim under the new owner, just 100 days after Clearlake Capital took control of the team.

Coach Tuchel encountered difficulties at Bayern Munich in the 2023–24 season, when the team only finished third in the Bundesliga. The situation in the final stages gradually improved, so Bayern wanted to keep the former Dortmund captain, but the two sides could not reach a mutual agreement.
