Record-Breaking Season for the Gunners: Bukayo Saka Leads Scoring as Arsenal Nets 113 Goals Throughout the Season

It was a record-breaking season for our Gunners, as we went goal crazy by netting 113 times across the campaign.

That is the most we’ve netted in a single season since 2016/17, and we broke our best-ever Premier League total by netting 91 times in the division—three more than our previous best.

We’ve taken a closer look at the numbers to dig out some interesting stats regarding our glut of goals:

17 different players found the net for us in all competitions, led by Bukayo Saka, who became the first player to score 20 goals for us in a season since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in 2019/20 and the first Englishman since Theo Walcott in 2012/13.

We benefited from five own goals during the Premier League campaign, and the last time we had more in our favour in a season was in 2009/10. Our 13 goals in the competition from defenders were second only to Tottenham’s 14.
