Chelsea to Announce New Manager This Week: Leicester’s Boss to Replace Pochettino with 2-Year Deal

A series of reports from England said that Chelsea identified the number one candidate for the hot seat as coach Enzo Maresca.

The Italian strategist has just led Leicester to promotion to the Premier League as the Championship team in his first season as captain, receiving special attention from Chelsea Club. He used to be Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City and is a candidate for the Blues’ hot seat along with Roberto De Zerbi and Thomas Frank.

In the current Chelsea squad, there are two players who worked with Maresca: Romeo Lavia and Cole Palmer. He is considered a coach with a background in controlling the ball and giving opportunities to young players.
