With home field advantage and an outstanding quality squad, the tanks entered the game very confidently and put great pressure on the Scottish field.

Right in the 10th minute, Scotland’s net shook after Florian Wirtz’s shot.

Continuing the excitement, Julian Nagelsmann’s army pressed their opponents fiercely. The second goal came to them as an inevitability.

In the 19th minute, Kai Havertz fed the ball to Jamal Musiala in the Scottish penalty area, before the Bayern Munich star unleashed a shot to tear goalkeeper Gunn’s net.

The remaining minutes of the first half saw the German team completely control the match. Their advantage continued to expand, when defender Porteous on the Scottish side received a direct red card after fouling Gundogan in the penalty area. After checking VAR, the referee immediately awarded the home team a penalty kick.

On the 11m mark, Kai Havertz made no mistake to increase the score to 3-0 for Die Mannschaft. This is also the final score of the first half.

After the break, Germany was still the team that had the upper hand, controlling most of the ball. However, with a huge advantage of leading 3 goals in the first half, Die Mannschaft played at a slow pace and no longer attacked aggressively.

However, Germany’s attack still played effectively and scored a goal to increase the score to 4-0 in the 68th minute. Niclas Fullkrug was the one whose name was added to the scoreboard after a thunderous shot outside the penalty area.

The remaining minutes saw Nagelsmann’s team play extremely leisurely. Meanwhile, Scotland suddenly had an honorable goal in the 87th minute after Rudiger scored his own goal.

However, that was not the final score of this match, when Emre Can scored a 5-1 victory for Germany in the 90+3 minute. This result gives Nagelsmann’s army a huge advantage in continuing in Group A of Euro 2024.
