Private Ed Sheeran Concert for England Euro Squad Sends Fans Wild as Ed Sheeran Interacts with Bellingham

The England stars enjoyed a private performance by singer Ed Sheeran as they enjoyed some time away from training amid Euro 2024.

Sheeran has visited the England squad previously, and the 33-year-old has been spotted attending matches throughout this year’s competition.

The singer was present during the 1-1 draw with Denmark during the group stages as well as the recent 2-1 win against Slovakia.

BBC Sport shared photos of the musician with the team, but the fan response towards both Sheeran and the England team was very mixed.

One person penned: “Very spoilt; time for us to step up our performances and relax (after all those yoga and relaxation classes)!”

Another quipped: “I hope he’s promised to come back if they lose to the Swiss.”

Including a mix of Sheeran’s most famous tracks, another wrote: “Well, Ed is probably thinking it’s not been perfect so far, but thinking out loud is what Southgate should do to get them into a shape (of you). The bad habits have to stop now for England to win the Euros with the A team.”

“Music is therapy,” another shared, while someone else commented, “He played better than them.”

Another took a swipe by adding, “Can we all agree they’ve finally found rock bottom?”

However, others applauded both Sheeran and the team, with one saying, “Unreal. what a guy.”

Sheeran also made headlines this week for making critical remarks about London, stating “all areas” are “dangerous” and “sketchy.”.

In a chat with US podcaster Theo Von, the popular singer was asked, “What’s the most dangerous place to be around here?”

“Here? I’d say every area of London. Literally, every area is sketchy,” the Shape of You singer replied candidly.

He continued: “I think that you cannot be anywhere. It’s not like a segregated city. No, I mean the nice areas are sketchy, the bad areas are sketchy, but you just have to not do stupid s***.

“If you wander around with, I dunno, like a Louis Vuitton duffel bag and a £200,000 watch, you are going to get robbed,” he insisted before suggesting: “But just don’t do that.”
