Contrary to expectations, the match between England and the Netherlands was exciting from the very first minutes. The Netherlands took an early lead thanks to Simons’ superb long-range shot from the Leipzig star.

After conceding the goal, England immediately fought back. Harry Kane fell after a collision with an opposing defender. The referee did not see the situation clearly and only signaled for the match to continue. Referee Felix Zwayer then consulted VAR and decided to award England a penalty. Kane made no mistake in bringing the match back to balance.

Two goals in the opening 18 minutes brought the game to life. The crossbar denied the Netherlands, while the post denied England.
Entering the second half, the game suddenly fell apart. Dangerous opportunities became scarce. It was not until the 79th minute that the third goal appeared, but unfortunately, the assist for Saka of the English team, Walker, was in an offside position.
