According to reliable sources, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has reached a personal agreement with Napoli. The 31-year-old veteran can join the Serie A team until the summer of 2027; the two teams only have to finalize the contract fee.

According to Sky Sports Italy, Lukaku will receive a salary of £97,000 a week at his new club. The Blues are hoping to receive 40 million euros, but Napoli have only offered 25 million euros, so both sides still need more time to negotiate.

Napoli are trying to sell Victor Osimhen to partners soon to get more money, thereby meeting the requirements from Chelsea.

PSG have shown goodwill towards Napoli over Osimhen, but the Serie A side are determined to meet his release clause of €130 million (£110.8 million), a figure so high that both Chelsea and Arsenal have turned around.

PSG are still considering a €100m (£84.3m) plus player bid as part of their bid, with Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda also travelling to Paris earlier this week to speed up negotiations.
