Midfielder Lucas Vazquez has officially signed a new contract until June 2025 with Real Madrid.

 

 

After announcing the extension with Luka Modric, Real Madrid has just officially confirmed that another veteran star, Lucas Vazquez, has signed a new 1-year contract with the club.

 

Vazquez turned 33 in July, but is ready for his 10th season in Real Madrid’s first team. The Spaniard is a useful right-back option alongside Dani Carvajal.

 

 

Vazquez will continue to stay with Real Madrid until 2025.

 

 

It is known that Lucas refused many offers to stay at Bernabeu for another year and continue his career with the Spanish Royal Club.

Vazquez has been in Madrid since 2007, when he joined the club’s youth academy. Apart from a season on loan at RCD Espanyol, the 33-year-old has spent his entire career in the Spanish capital.

Vazquez has made 349 appearances for Real Madrid to date, and has shown his importance as a versatile right-winger.
