Chelsea faced Club America in search of their first win under new coach Enzo Maresca. In the 3rd minute, luck smiled on “The Blues”.

After Romeo Lavia was fouled in the penalty area, the referee decided to award the Premier League giant a penalty. Christopher Nkunku took responsibility and coolly beat the opposing goalkeeper from 11 meters away, putting Chelsea ahead.

Taking the early advantage, “The Blues” became more excited to deploy an overwhelming game. By the 21st minute, the gap had doubled.

Raheem Sterling overlapped with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall on the left wing. The new midfielder sent an accurate cross for Marc Guiu to head in from close range, making it 2-0.
