Declan Rice may have joined Manchester City before he joined Arsenal. Nevertheless, the English midfielder ultimately decided to join the “Gunners” rather than the “Cityzens.”

 

 

 

 

Following his release from West Ham, Rice has spoken frankly with The Athletic about his plans for the future. The English midfielder grinned as he thought about the prospect of playing in the blue half of Manchester’s midfield tandem with Rodri.

“I know,” Rice expressed. “However, this project seems more interesting and that’s why I chose Arsenal. I believe I can accomplish great things here.”

According to Rice, he and Rodri play the game in quite different ways. A “natural number 6,” according to the Arsenal star, who praised Manchester City’s forward.

 

Rodri is very regimented, but Rice feels like he plays more freely. The Foggy player was quite forthright in his assessment of his Spanish teammate as the world’s top midfielder.
