Conor Gallagher is set to make a permanent move from Chelsea to Atlético Madrid , according to Fabrizio Romano. There is talk of both an agreement between the two clubs, as well as a personal agreement. The transfer involves 40 million euros.

Gallagher’s transfer to Atlético has been in the air for a while. Now the deal has been sealed. The well-known ‘here we go’ by Italian transfer expert Romano will be broadcast on air in the course of Monday.

The 24-year-old Gallagher will sign a five-year contract in the Spanish capital. Atlético will pay 40 million euros for the English midfielder, an amount that the club does not want to pay Feyenoord for the services of David Hancko for the time being.

The 18-time England international, a Chelsea youth product, played 95 official matches for the Blues , scoring 15 goals and providing 17 assists.
